We spent time discussing the
design and mock-up of our vehicle. How were we going to retrieve
twenty C-Probes? What could we use to accomplish this task?
We talked about using a prong or a manipulator but came up with
the brilliant idea of using an underwater vacuum! With a vacuum
we can quickly retrieve each object. If we used a prong or manipulator,
the retrieval work would be slow and tedious.
We also tossed around the idea of creating
a web site. (Virginia decided to take on this part of the project.)
Finally, we worked on the metal lathe, turning a couple of thruster
nozzles.
