Making Bigger Waves

Over the weekend, we worked hard to meet the deadline for the electrical schematic, the technical paper, and the project budget.
The electrical schematic took three days to complete. This diagram shows where every wire and electrical component is connected. It’s like the electrical blueprint for the ROV.
The interim technical paper describes the vehicle and why we designed it the way we did. We discussed several troubleshooting techniques including laying out all the components on plywood to make sure they work. In short, the paper describes the technical and team related processes that we have undergone in the past six months.
Meanwhile Sarah worked on our budget. She used a spread sheet program to list all the contributions we received from our sponsors and each item we bought. Then she totaled up our revenue and expenses. Currently we are running a deficit so we need to look at doing some more fund-raising.
