Noggin’s Dinosaur Card Game

Professor Noggin is a card game series that combines
trivia, true/false, and multiple choice questions to explore different
subjects. Wildlife, space, and dinosaurs are just some of the topics
to sink your brains into. Each game has
30 large illustrated cards, instructions, and special dice. Players
take turns rolling the dice and asking each other questions from the
cards. There are two skills levels. For example, if you have the Velociraptor
card out, one of the three “easy” questions is: Was I
a herbivore, an omnivore, or a carnivore? One of the three “hard”
questions is: One of the most famous fossils ever found was of a Velociraptor
attacking an Iguanodon, a Protoceratops, or a Triceratops? If
you answer correctly, the card is won; if you’re wrong, the
card is returned to the bottom of the pile. The winner is the player
with the most cards at the end of the game. |

| Sam and Jesse:
We think the game was put together well and the instructions were
easy to follow.
S: I would personally say the game was too easy.
J: I would say it was a good mix of easy and hard challenges.
S: Considering I knew half the facts, I’m not sure
I could say anything about what I liked most about the game.
J: I liked learning new facts the most. I especially liked
the topic dinosaurs.
S & J: What we liked least about the game was the quality
of the pictures. We didn’t really learn anything from playing
the game either. (Except for some new facts here and there.) We
did, however, have fun playing the game.
S: My overall impression of the game is that it was too easy.
J: Overall, I liked it.
S: The one word I would use to describe the game is, easy.
S & J: Out of 10, we give the game a score of 7.
